Frequently asked questions
Why convert a HEIC photo?
iPhones save photos as HEIC, a format many websites, forms and computers cannot open. JPEG opens everywhere.
Does the image size change?
No: only the format changes. To make it smaller, use the Compress tool.
What happens to PNG transparency?
JPEG has no transparency: it becomes a white background. In WebP, it is kept.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?

Are my original files changed?
